Let’s introduce our adventurous host, NomadHer Myougsoo Kim, an eco-friendly outdoor expert who previously worked as a female tech engineer but now has been a K-outdoor pioneer for 7 years. She has been running her company ”Travel Masters” to curate outdoor adventures and showing people the diverse beauty of nature.
She is an avid learner and constantly pushes herself to acquire new skills. She also empowers other female travelers to get out of their comfort zone and experience an outdoor adventure in a safe way.

Kensington Hotel Pyeongchang is located a 20-minute drive away from Odae Mountain National Park. The property is also about a 20 km from Yongpyeong Ski Resort. All rooms feature simple décor with both air-conditioning and heating facilities. Some Korean-Style rooms feature Ondol, Korean traditional heated underflooring.

We’ll kick off our journey with a road trip from Seoul Sports Complex Station to Pyeongchang! As we leave the bustling city behind, we’ll soak in the scenic countryside views and share our excitement for the ski trip ahead.⛷️
12:00 | Arrival at Pyeongchang Ski Resort (Mona Yongpyeong Resort)
Once we arrive, it’s time to get suited up with ski equipment and skiwear. Just a quick reminder: gloves, shoes, and goggles aren’t included in the rental, so you’ll want to bring those with you.
13:00 | Orientation and Equipment Rental
We’ll gather for a brief orientation to cover safety basics and get ready for a thrilling day on the slopes!
13:30 | Ski Lesson and Practice
The host will start us off with an introductory ski lesson focused on safety, balance, and basic skiing techniques. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you’ll have time to practice your new skills and build confidence.
17:30 | Equipment Return or Optional Night Skiing
After wrapping up our practice, we’ll return the ski equipment. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to keep going, there’s an option to purchase a night skiing pass for 60,000 KRW (about 40 euros) from 7 pm to 10 pm—perfect for an extra dose of slope time!
19:00 | Dinner and Free Time
Let’s unwind with some local dining around the resort! Whether you choose to relax, explore entertainment around the area, or take another spin on the slopes, it’s a great time to connect and enjoy.
22:00 | Overnight Stay
After checking in, we’ll settle into a convenient hotel near the resort for a restful night, getting ready for more fun and exploration tomorrow.
09:00 | Cable Car to Balwang Mt. Peak
Our day starts with a scenic ride on the cable car up to the peak of Balwang Mountain. The panoramic views of snow-covered peaks are truly breathtaking—perfect for a few moments of reflection and inspiration with the NomadHer solo female travelers.
10:00 | Daegwallyeong Exploration
After checking out from the hotel, we’ll take a short drive to the Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm. The snow hills create a dreamy winter landscape, and we can’t wait to experience the peaceful ambiance and stunning views.
13:00 | Lunch
Let’s enjoy a delicious lunch in the area. It’s always a treat to explore local cuisine with our NomadHer travel buddies!
14:00 | Camp Wrap-Up and Return to Seoul
With our adventure wrapping up, we’ll say goodbye to Pyeongchang, heading back to Seoul with memories of an amazing trip.

Our camp is designed for very beginning level of skier. No previous experience is required. The activity will be led by 2 professional ski instructors who will provide 4 hour-long basic skiing lesson.

Absolutely, the NomadHer camp is designed for beginner friendly.
I had much fun and felt over the moon when I joined the NomadHer Ski Trip. I met a lot of new friends here. Not only that, we shared the best moments! Hopefully, we can meet in the next Ski Trip program
All cancellation requests must be sent in email to aloha@nomadher.com. The date of the cancellation request is the date when the email is received.
Cancellations requested up to 30 days before the event: Full refund
i.e.) If the trip takes place on Nov 30th, you would be eligible for a full refund up until Oct 31st.
Cancellation requested between 30 and 15 days before the event: 50% refund
i.e) if the trip takes place on Nov 30th, you would be eligible for a 50% refund until Nov 15th.
Subsequent requests less than 14 days before the event: No refund
*Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the date of refund request.
